Textile Ministry Unites Sari Lovers On Twitter With #MySariMyPride
This is great!

India is a country of colours and cultures. With diversity sitting at its core, India’s rich history in art, craft, and fashion is celebrated around the globe. The country is a treasure of a million shades, embroideries, and fabrics that makes it a destination for shoppers from the deepest pockets of the world. And as we enjoy the westernised side of our wardrobes, the idea of draping an heirloom sari is always a delight.
With this motive to popularise India’s bond with the sari, and its variety, the Ministry Of Textiles is hosting a unique exhibition in Delhi. Titled–My Sari, My Pride — Ek Virasat, the exhibit starting from December 16, 2022, is aimed to display a wide variety of 72 saris. Putting rich handloom on display, the exhibition has found its venue at Janpath in New Delhi. Promoting the unique idea, many politicians, and ministers have been tweeting about the exhibition with the #MySariMyPride.
