Meghan Markle’s Givenchy Wedding Gown To Go On Display

I have to admit, I was one of those people who was sitting in a busy city in India, obsessing over what is happening at the Windsor Castle in the UK as the Suits actress Meghan Markle said “I do” to the world’s most eligible bachelor Prince Harry. On the 19th of May, 2018, as Meghan stepped out of her car, everyone held their breath.  For months, speculation about who she would wear was rife among the fashion industry and onlookers. Everyone knew, whether this dress was good or bad, it would go down in history and probably decide what the future of wedding dresses would be like, and so it did.

Meghan Markel’s simple white custom-made Givenchy gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller, single-handedly kicked off the bateau neckline and extra long trail trend. Well guess what, this iconic wedding dress worn by the dutches of Sussex will soon be available for the viewing of us peasants.

The Daily Express UK reported that Meghan’s wedding dress will go on show at Windsor Castle in an exhibition,  likely to bring record numbers of tourists to the Queen’s favourite royal residence. According to a Royal source, the dress will be the focal point of this exhibition, at the 1000-year-old palace, Windsor castle, where this couple exchanged wedding vows. The royal trust will announce the news by the end of this year!

Well, I’d totally want to go check this iconic, grand yet minimalistic and chic dress in person. What about you? Let us know in the comments below.
