The actress recently turned heads after wearing the iconic Taj Mahal diamond necklace at the Los Angeles premiere of the film. Taj Mahal Diamond Necklace Details
Margot Robbie graced the red carpet In Schiaparelli couture gown and complemented the look with the Taj Mahal diamond necklace, which has a heart-shaped pendant with a Parsi inscription that reads “Love is Eeverlasting” and has Nur Jahan’s name carved into it.. As per People magazine, this necklace is worth around Rs. 74 Crores (approx. $8 million).
It’s reportedly believed that Mughal emperor Shah Jahan’s father, Shah Jahangir, passed down the necklace to him. Additionally, it is also believed that Shah Jahan gifted the gem to his wife Mumtaz. Because of its association with the Mughals, the necklace is known as the Taj Mahal Diamond. Later, it was acquired by Cartier in 1971. The company redesigned the piece while preserving its historical significance and symbolism.

How Did Elizabeth Taylor Acquire It?
In the following year, 1972, Cartier president Michael Thomas reportedly presented the Taj Mahal diamond necklace to Elizabeth Taylor’s husband, Richard Burton, who then gifted it to the Cleopatra star.
As far as Wuthering Heights go, the film stars Margot Robbie, Jacob Elordi, Ewan Mitchell, Allison Oliver and more. It will be released on February 13, 2026.
