Get Ready For Your Next Great Indian Family Function In These Manushi Chhillar Inspired Desi Fashion
She looks lovely!

Actress Manushi Chhillar is all set for the grand release of her next film–The Great Indian Family. The actress’ exciting fashion exhibits her great taste in Desi-wear, which goes from sarees, and suits to ethnic co-ordinated sets. What we love about Chhillar’s personal style is the idea of mixing and blending colours, and embroideries that are perfect for occasion dressing. So, if you’re gearing up to attend your next family function, take some traditional style inspiration from Ms. Chhillar.
Sassy Saree
A modern-day must-have silhouette in every girl’s wardrobe is this pre-stitched ruffle saree by designer Arpita Mehta. The signature, tinsel and mirror-laden pallu comes combined with a border of ivory chord work, decorated with frill details. She further styled the saree with an equally exuberant mirror-laden, ivory blouse with cut-work hemlines. Accessorising the look, Manushi added a sparkling necklace, and a matching diamond bindi and tied her hair into a ponytail.

Anarkali FTW
Manushi played along the lines of desi fashion in this anarkali suit set. Embellished with blue embroidery work, the sleeveless design featured a sleeveless, matka neckline, and a little flounce. She combined the dainty embroidery with a sheer, see-through dupatta featuring tiny embroidery patches and a delicate border. Styling the look together, she added a pair of pearl drop earrings and hair styled into open curls.

Ravishing Red
What better than a red kurta set to style for a special occasion? Right? Picking one, Chhillar worked around a mirror-laden, printed beetroot red kurta, with crisp bandhgala detail, and simple thread work. Adding to the look, she wrapped a dupatta around her arms and styled the look with tiny ear studs and a light red lip colour.

Quirky Co-ords
Giving a modern-day approach to desi fashion, Chhillar gave a dazzling twist to her peplum kurta with an asymmetrical hemline, a front-open closure, and scalloped edges. She further combined the look with a pair of wide-legged sharara pants, incorporating tonal embroidery work and statement chikankari. She elegantly accessorised the look with a pair of gold, shoulder-grazing jhumkas, a matching clutch and hair tied into a bun.

Printed Saree
Printed sarees are best for a last-minute look during festivities. Like Chhillar, you can choose a muted-coloured saree design with a floral print overlay, a scalloped border and ice-blue embroidery work. She further combined the same with a shimmery, silk blouse featuring a massive backless neckline, and neck closure. She further accessorised the look with her signature hair bun and chunky jhumkas.
