Malavika Mohanan Pays Ode To Colours Of Spring In Two Floral Sarees For ‘Christy’ Promotions

Actress Malavika Mohanan has been trying her hands at some unique, poetic prints as displayed on her Instagram grid. For the press tour of her upcoming film, the actress reminisces old-world nostalgia, in spring-appropriate sarees. On promotion duties for her film–Christy, the actress has been trusting florals. Sorbet hues mixed with bold flower prints are Mohanan’s pick for two back-to-back looks.

For day two of promotions, the actress chose to pick a delightful drape in the shade of lilac. Selected from the shelves of Dohri India, the actress decked up in a diaphanous mauve saree with a delicate overlay of flowers. A similar floral bunch from her saree pallu ran across her slim-fit blouse, featuring back-open detailing and an elaborate keyhole in the front. With this one, Mohanan chose to delicately package her look with equally dainty earpieces. She further dressed her tresses into a messy ponytail and went neutral and natural with her face makeup.

Previously, we spotted the star in a pale pink saree by label–Jadon. Featuring an overlay of intricately embroidered floral motifs, Mohanan coupled her drape with a ruched blouse in a rosy shade of pink. She further fixed the essence of vintage nostalgia with a two-layered pearl neckpiece, stud earrings and romantic curls. Reminiscent of the spring season, the actress decided to go dewy and natural with her makeup, while painting her lips with matte pink.
