Twitter Has A Lot To Say About Louis Vuitton’s Overly Priced New Sandwich Bag Design!

Big luxury brands never fail to surprise us. From eccentric designs, quirky marketing strategies to PR stunts, brands and their click bait-driven moves are always a surprise package. Making one is designer label–Louis Vuitton, which dropped its latest new design in the category of luxury bags. Just a few days ago, LV had its customers confused with the launch of its newly designed bag. Inspired from a regular sandwich bag, or the paper bag you get at the Mc Donald’s, the LV sandwich luxury bag is not your go-to pick.

Made of cowhide leather, the bag is one of the first few eclectic pieces launched under the leadership of LV’s new design head and Director of the French luxury fashion house Pharrell Williams. Matching the luxury house’s signature colour scheme, the bag features the brand’s name in bold blue ink, with a clasp of the same shade. While the design already came as a shocker to the internet, what surprised us even more was the price tag. Priced at INR 2,80,000.

Reacting to the design, Twitter users bombarded our feed with hilarious reactions, and comments. While some compared the design with the Mc Donald’s parcel bag, some others called Pharrell, a “bad designer.” Check out some of these reactions.
