Style Lessons From Kriti Sanon’s Latest Desi Avatars

Kriti Sanon Style_Hauterfly

Kriti Sanon has pretty much been walking all over style station thanks to her film promotions. Not just one, but two movies have brought her in the limelight — first Raabta and then Bareilly Ki Barfi. And guess what? Her fashion quotient is totally on point!

Styled by Sukriti Grover, Kriti’s looks have been pretty distinct and very creatively put together. Desi ethnic boho being her go-to for the promotions, the way each piece has been put together has been very stylish and pretty easy to replicate during the festivities.

So what’s so unique about her approach? Well, firstly, all her looks have a perfect blend of Indian ethnic, with a fusion touch to them. While you can wear a dhoti as is, Kriti funked it up and wore it with white sneakers. Isn’t that cool?

If you’re one who doesn’t like going all formal and glam, this is the perfect way to balance things out without compromising on your style.

Chunky jewellery, especially big and funky necklaces seemed to be her go-to accessory, which actually played up the ensembles in general. Taking a more relaxed approach in terms of the silhouettes, her anarkali dresses are what caught our eye.

And what we loved most about her desi looks is her choice of footwear! You must be aware of how much the #HauteSquad loves juttis and that’s precisely what made us love her more. Ditching the heels on most occasions, Kriti seemed to pull-off the trusty and comfy jutti so well. It added that authentic touch to the entire outfit.

Even pairing a normal pant and crop-top combination with a pretty long-line jacket vest, just gave a basic look that ethnic definition.

Kriti really played up the boho-ethnic trend this season with all her fashion statements in the past couple of weeks, and what really caught our eye was the fact that all of her styles were so easy to recreate.

So taking inspiration from Kriti Sanon, why not give her twist in desi fashion a try this festive season? Comfy and stylish, it honestly doesn’t get better than this!
