From Pastel Hues To Gayatri Mantra On Sherwani, Kriti Kharbanda, Pulkit Samrat’s Wedding Outfits Were Indeed Special

Actors Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat finally tied the knot yesterday after dating for a couple of years. Posting pictures from their nuptials, the celebrity couple shared some special snippets from their special day and made an interesting choice in terms of colours and couture. Styled by Ami Patel, Kriti and Pulkit wore designer Anamika Khanna for their special day, and picked some interesting, and meaningful motifs to mark their bond.

The romance of colours featuring pastels, was an interesting pick for the day. Designed by Khanna, Kriti’s look featured a mix of glistening textures, blending brocade and silk. The actress picked up the brocade blouse and paired it with a flouncy lehenga featuring rose pink embroidery, alongside multiple layers of gold and bronze border. The actress’ spectacular bridal lehenga was further styled with a long veil, featuring fish scale embroidery work, and scalloped borders. Unlike most celebrity brides, the actress picked up a stack of red chooda to complete the look.

She further styled the look with a pair of kaleeras from Mrinalini Chandra. Her ensemble was further accessorised with some kundan jewels, including a nose ring, and matha patti. What stole the show was groom Pulkit’s fashionable sherwani which indeed was the highlight of the day. The actor picked up a pistachio green sherwani, with silk detailing. What amused us the most was the incorporation of the Gayatri mantra, embellished in devnagri. The thread detailing was by far the most interesting concept design we saw in a celebrity groom’s wedding look.

The actor further styled the look with simple, satin dhoti emerald jewellery, and a matching safa. Adding more dazzling details to his look, Samrat picked up a pair of kundan ear studs and a detailed, embroidery dupatta. We definitely loved the look.
