Katrina Kaif’s Same Old Saree Looks Are Getting Boring, We Need More Experiments!

Katrina Kaif is not a big believer in experiments. With a signature style, Kaif loves to keep it simple and minimal with her sartorial choices. While she often tries to experiment with modern, western outfits, her ethnic looks have become a streak of boring and monotonous looks. With red being common in most cases, Kaif’s saree choices are really getting boring. Here are four times Katrina picked the same, old boring designs and delivered a failed look.

Karwa Chauth Red

This year, the actress picked a red saree from the shelves of a designer house–Sabyasachi. The same old boring look featured a gotta work saree with motif embroidery on the sleeves. She further accessorised the same with her usual shoulder-grazing jhumkas, and her signature open hairstyle.

Not In A Mood For Yellow

Kaif dropped another festive look this past week, which we shall appreciate for its colour, but not for its styling. Kaif’s new traditional look featured a v-neckline blouse, with a simple, bordered saree. What we didn’t like about her ensemble was her choice of accessories, including a simple bangle and jhumkas.

Red Again

This past week, we also witnessed Mrs Kaushal in another red saree, which continued her streak of red outfits. The Indian ethnic look featured a heavily embroidered drape, teamed with a net-sleeved blouse. And while Katrina played with a little colour through her bindi and earrings, she chose to build the entire look with her simple hairstyle and same old makeup look.

Stepping Away From Experiments

While styling sarees, Katrina loves to follow a certain set of rules and apply the same old formula. When choosing to drape a simple saree with minimal borders, she chooses a pair of shoulder-grazing earrings and a simple bindi. It is rare that Kaif experiments with choker designs, unique bracelets or hairdos.

With a smile like hers and an athletic form, we would want to see more experiments in this category by her. Hopefully, her stylists will surprise us the next time.
