Much like her peer Sonam Kapoor and young un’ Ananya Panday, Kat knows what best works for her and has a knack of putting together good looks. Unlike Sonam though, who loves layers and details, Kat does it with simpler silhouettes while always keeping it sexy. The actress is in great shape and that comes in handy when she has to stock up her closet with super hot bodycon dresses and just pull one out while heading to a birthday party.

How hot is that?! The ensemble is very simple at its core…a happy colour paired with gold-toned stilettos and hoop earrings. I love the shape of this dress. The length is perfect for a cocktail party, the padded shoulders gives it an edge and that open back is a dream. We don’t nearly get enough opportunities to show off our backs, given that we never really seek out this style while buying dresses. I myself have committed the sin of judging an outfit by its cover, without taking a look at what’s going on behind it. But hand me a dress or a shirt with an interesting back and I will buy it in a heartbeat.

A back like Kat’s dress is perfect for parties where you want cute guys to spot you from every direction and a little birdie told us that ‘Butt Guys’ are the true gentlemen!

On a side note, how cool is Alex Perry’s play with orange hues in his collections! We saw another fabulous tangerine number on Priyanka Chopra Jonas and the shade looked so rich on her dusky skin. BRB, updating my closet with some orange hues to complement my olive skin!
