Quirky New York-based apparels and accessories label Kate Spade is all set to hit the Indian market before year-end, giving direct competition to other brands like Michael Kors. Kate Spade will be licensed and distributed in India by Reliance Brands. According to an article in Economic Times, this will be the 18th international brand to be promoted by Reliance. They already have 142 stores with big names like Hamleys, Diesel, and Steve Madden, among others.
Founded in 1993 by Kate Brosnahan Spade, this brand markets accessories and apparel under Kate Spade New York.
