Last night, Bollywood actresses celebrated Karwa Chauth and wore some of the most dazzling red ensembles. From Katrina Kaif to Kiara Advani and Parineeti Chopra, actresses celebrated the occasion wearing embellished looks. In pictures from their Instagram handle, we spotted our favourite stars, breaking their fast with their husbands. Here’s a look at who wore what for Karwa Chauth 2023.

Katrina Kaif

Celebrating her second Karwa Chauth with husband/actor Vicky Kaushal, Kaif picked a dazzling Sabyasachi saree in red. The embellished number featured gotta work in gold, combined with a bandhani printed pallu, and motif work that marked the special occasion. Completing the look, Kaif styled it all with a dainty mangalsutra, ethnic Indian jewellery and sindoor.

Kiara Advani

Kiara celebrated her first Karwa Chauth with husband/actor Sidharth Malhotra. For the same, Advani picked a beautiful fuchsia pink anarkali suit, embellished with a gold neckline and bold borders. Completing the look, she added a sheer dupatta and wore sindoor, bindi and jhumkas.

Parineeti Chopra

Mrs Chadha too marked her first Karwa Chauth with her husband Raghav Chadha at their Delhi residence. The newly-wed actress wore a short red kalidaar kurta, teamed with a roomy salwaar, and dupatta. The embellished number was further styled with a pair of Punjabi jutti, jhumkas and pink chooda.

Sonam Kapoor

Kapoor uniquely celebrated the occasion and picked a beautiful pink saree. For the celebrations at her mom–Sunita Kapoor’s residence, the actress wore a blush pink, printed saree, teamed with a mono-sleeved blouse in a slightly darker hue of pink. Accessorising the look, Sonam chose a dainty maang tika, and let her hair loose.

Shilpa Shetty

As per traditions, the actress picked a red saree with traditional gold borders, added to the base. She further combined it with a sexy, sleeveless blouse, that followed a matching border work. Accessorising the look, Shetty picked a stack of traditional red chooda, mangalsutra and wore sindoor.

Hansika Motwani

The actress too marked the occasion in a sequin-soaked maroon saree, which was styled with a sleeveless blouse. Unlike most actresses, Motwani’s choice was a little unconventional. She further accessorised the look with an emerald-encrusted diamond necklace and matching earrings.
