I am a big fan of Karisma Kapoor’s sartorial taste. From picking the most attractive hues to stitching both comfort and class in each of her looks, Karisma churns out some impeccable pairings, which btw we love taking inspiration from. And doing so, yet again, the elder Kapoor sister has made a remarkable style statement in a cool, two-toned dress.

Karisma picked the silk, colour block dress with bottom pleats and top stitch details from the shelves of label–Lovebirds Studio. Known for its crisp construction and lively colour families, this outfit fits Karisma’s charisma like a hand in a glove. Styled by celebrity stylist–Ami Patel, Ms Kapoor teams the dress with statement, white and red, Christian Louboutin shoes. Letting her hair loose and welcoming attention to the detailed, linear design running throughout the dress, Karisma decided to skip any form of accessories.

The super-comfortable dress is a winning piece and is a great one for AM to PM dressing, considering the two personality aesthetics that the shades of black and citrus peach showcase. For makeup again, Karisma trusts a minimal, dewy glow as she paints her lips with a barely seen pink lip shade and a thin layer of eyeliner.

Looking at the many pictures that have made it to the actress’ Instagram grid, we think she is all set for the heat of summer. From an oversized, monochrome kurta set, must-have cute pyjamas, and slogan-t-shirts to quirky kaftans, Karisma’s summer closet plays well with fabrics, colours and comfort.
