Then be it red carpets or date nights, celeb couples from Megan Fox, Machine Gun Kelly to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, all have been flaunting their sartorial skills. And now joining the list is a new couple in town and oh boy, they nailed it. Making their relationship official, Kanye West and Julia Fox, walked the red carpet on Sunday, at the Paris Men’s Fashion Week. While their first every public appearance had us all surprised, what impressed us were their coordinated outfits. Yes, a ten on ten look, if you ask me, the newest lovebirds in town, came dressed in matching denim ensembles with black gloves. Julia Fox’s attempt to bring back the conical bra with Schiaparelli ensemble, hints at a new trend in making. Moreover, she paired the denim cropped jacket with a pair of baggy denim jeans, boots and completed the look with statement gold earrings and smokey eyes. While her date for the event (and perhaps life), Kanye West too arrived dressed in a denim-on-denim look with black boots and black hand gloves that remained another common element between the couple.

Loud and clear, the look was a head turner and indeed a fashion moment. Why? Because it took us back to the time, when Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears gave us the iconic double denim moment. Acing a strapless denim dress with patchwork details around the fall, Britney matched her then beau Justin, who pulled off a denim blazer, multi-toned jeans and a studded waistband, at the American Music Awards in 2001. And now Kanye West and Julia Fox. Well, it seems the denim on denim look is here to stay, with many more celebrities yet to try their hands on it.
