Actress Kajol is currently on promotion duties for her upcoming film–Salaam Venky. For her ongoing press tour, Kajol is rounding up a bunch of new looks. This upgraded wardrobe owned by the actress is ready to welcome the temperature drop. With the onset of winters, Kajol’s sartorial looks have been making an effort to choose shades and fabrics that help save her from the chilly weather. In new looks on her Instagram grid, we spotted the actress in a rich maroon velvet kurta. The actress pulled out a gorgeous set from designer–Sureena Chowdhri’s winter edit.

Picking the designer’s signature velvet designs, Kajol wore an anti-fit kurta, and pants set. The actress brought an old-worldly charm to the silhouette. The gold embroidery ran from the neck to the hemline, coupled with a floral design. Teamed with the kurta was a pair of velvet pants, featuring floral embroidery. Velvet in this case is a smart choice for the winter season. Styling the look, Kajol chose to wear an embroidered jutti, curled her hair, and added ear danglers.

Not just this Sureena Chowdhri kurta, but Kajol’s previous suit design was a great example of dressing right for the weather. The actress chose to style a classic Torani suit set. Embellished with bold appliqué designs, and traditional Kashmiri embroidery, Kajol’s silhouette is perfect for winter. Styling the look, the actress dressed her hair bun using a red rose and opted for tiny emerald earrings. Throughout her promotion tour, Kajol has been experimenting with the season’s favourite fabric–velvet, in every shape, size, and style. She previously incorporated the warm fabric in a saree set by label–Raw Mango.
