Julia Roberts Collaborated With Moschino To Put George Clooney’s Gorgeous Face On Her Dress. Yeh Dosti!

Actress Julia Roberts arrived for the Kennedy Center Honors to cheer for her friend George Clooney in a rather interesting manner. In terms of her next experiment with red carpet dressing, Roberts collaborated with designer house–Moschino to stitch her cheerleader dress. Dripping portraits of Clooney, the actress’ custom-made gown in charcoal black described her love for her longtime friend. The taffeta gown featured a scoop neckline and a collage of Clooney’s smiling faces through the years. Every picture came packed in vintage gold frames of different sizes.

Coupled with the gown was a fitted, cropped tux jacket. Custom-made by creative director at Moschino–Jeremy Scott, Julia was styled by celebrity stylist–Elizabeth Stewart, as she completed the look using delicate hoop earrings, and hair styled into open curls. One of Hollywood’s favourite celebrity buddies share a camaraderie like no other. And Julia’s special ode to Clooney is the best example of the bond they hold. At the event, George was one of the awardees who were felicitated with the honour of a lifetime achievement award.

Talking about the event, George walked the red carpet with his wife–Amal Clooney in a black suit, with lapels decorated with the Center Honors ribbon. Posing next to George, Amal wore an off-shoulder, crystal gown picked from the shelves of Valentino. Apart from George, stars–Amy Grant, Tania León, and others were also honoured at the event.
