Julia Roberts has delivered some remarkable fashion statements, memories of which are still etched in our minds. Ahh..also the brunette hair moment for Friends, still lives in my dreams, hoping for me to replicate it one day. Not just her voluminous long locks but another piece of clothing, the blazers perhaps have served a winning moment each time the Pretty Woman star was spotted in one. And just like in the 90s, even today Julia refuses to take a step off-style as she graces our screen with another moment in Gucci.

Yes, you read that right. Ms Roberts was spotted last night in New York, attending the premiere of her upcoming TV series–Gaslit. Making an appearance with co-star Sean Penn, Julia matched her co-star’s suiting skills and definitely delivered better results. Dressed up in Gucci, Julia’s short suit incorporated the famous Gucci plaid on the shorts, a long coat, a white shirt and buttoned-up tuxedo belt. Styling her brunette locks into soft curls, Julia further teamed the look with black pump heels and a butterfly brooch on her blazer. The grey short suit was indeed a winning sartorial decision made by Julia, and I hope to see that more often on female stars. Such a stunner.

Moreover, other invitees and the star cast including Dan Stevens and Betty Gilpin arrived for the big  night. A special mention here for Dan’s excellent sartorial choice that came dipped in the shades of beetroot red, purple and salmon pink. The oversized four-piece suit was paired with green and brown clown boots and a tinted lime green pair of sunglasses (uff, so good).

Other attendees at the event included actress Christiane Seidel who appeared in a candy pink cutout dress. Other well-dressed guests in black were– Emma Laird in a tweed pant suit, Amelia Gray in a velvet jumpsuit and actress Marin Ireland in a sequinned pant suit, with a t-shirt that said, ‘Protect Trans Kids’ (fashion with a purpose).

The political thriller series unfolds the 1970s political Watergate scandal and is slated to release on April 24, 2022.
