Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Stole A Dress And Suit From Their Own Closets To Say “I Do”
The internet woke up to a surprising news about Jennifer Lopez and beau Ben Affleck. The couple who got engaged a few months back, followed a similar “hush-hush” routine, as they tied the knot. Yes, dear Bennifer fans, the lovely couple is finally married and we all are screaming in joy. On Saturday, Jennifer and Ben turned hosts to close friends and family members, as they said “I do” in Las Vegas. While the wedding was a close-knit, intimate affair, their wedding looks were stitched with the least possible extravaganza. Talking about our lovely bride–JLo, who played dress-up in two wedding gowns, and sparkled in each. The singer/actress pulled out a piece from her very own closet. As revealed by the bride herself, through her On The JLo newsletter, one of the dresses came straight from an “old movie” and is a piece she was saving for many, many years.

In pictures shared by her hairstylist, Chris Appleton, JLo was seen twirling in a minimal white dress, with a closed neckline, tonal embroidery, flaunting an umbrella cut. To finish the look, she turned her long tresses into voluminous curls and pinned a section behind. For makeup, JLo remained far-far away from the fuss of a glittery base, and said “I do” to a simple dewy look, with blush in abundance.

For look two, and perhaps for the main wedding, Jennifer trusted celebrated Lebanese designer–Zuhair Murad’s creations to walk the aisle. The spectacular, head-turning gown featured a sweetheart neckline, with lacey full-sleeves, headlining the strapless number. The long-trailing gown also featured a corset bodice and came accompanied by a stunning, lace veil. For jewellery, our beautiful bride, slid into simplistic accessory designs with a tiny diamond-pendant chain, and matching ear studs. Well, this isn’t the first time JLo trusted designer Zuhair Murad, to dress her up. She previously wore his spectacular designs in her most recent release– Marry Me, as the famous white wedding gown.

Apart from the bride, our very handsome groom was no less a star, as he rounded up a clean and classic look in a white suit. As mentioned in On The JLo newsletter, “a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.” Ben too opted for a refurbished tuxedo suit from his own closet, to match his bride in white. His ensemble incorporated a pair of black pants, a white blazer, a matching shirt and a black bow tie.

The couple who got back together after 20 years, sealed the deal with a ring in the month of April 2022, as Jennifer remained open about her green, wedding ring. While the two did not share snapshots from their wedding on social media, JLo teased her fans with a makeup-free image of herself, lying in the bed and flaunting her wedding ring, as she wrote, “Sadie! IYKYK Go to OnTheJLo for all the deets.”
