Netizens’ heads were turned after Mahhi Vij took to her social media and shared a birthday post dedicated to her friend Nadim Nadz on his birthday. People quickly began speculating that romance was brewing between the two. Defending Mahhi, actress Ankita Lokhande took to her Instagram and shared a story stating that she was disturbed by the comments people were making about them. She revealed knowing Mahhi, Nadim and Jay closely and stated how Nadim had been a father figure in their lives.

Ankita also revealed that Nadim was someone who stood by her and others during hard times and she respected him a lot. Further, the Pavitra Rishta star praised Jay and Mahhi for doing an incredible job as parents and urged people not to spread negativity. She also expressed her love for the couple and stated that Nadim was a godsend to many people.
