Janhvi Kapoor Shows Us The Desi Way To Wear Gen-Z Yellow

Even before Janhvi Kapoor has made her big Bollywood debut, she has already established a place for herself in the industry as a fashionista. Owing to her fashion sensibilities, the young debutante has already garnered love and attention, making her a style icon for many millennials.

Janhvi and Ishaan, have kicked off the promotions for their debut film, Dhadak. For the same, Jahnvi seems to be sticking to desi looks, as a part of her promotional wardrobe. For the trailer launch, she was seen wearing a beautiful, green, floor-length Manish Malhotra anarkali. Her second promotional look was for the launch of the title song, where she wore a gorgeous, yellow floor-length anarkali by Anushree Reddy.

The yellow anarkali featured a fitted V-neck upper, with voluminous layers of silk organza that flowed beautifully down to the floor. The look also included a cropped jacket with floral embroidery on it. She paired the look with an Amrapali ring and jhumkas. Simple hair and makeup, along with nude heels rounded the look.

First things first, we are happy to see Janhvi give Manish Malhotra a break, and include other designers in her promotional trousseau. We love how this look is fresh and easy. A voluminous anarkali tends to age you, but this looks age-appropriate on the young actress, and the fit is just right on her.

Now, we cannot wait to see what Jahnvi Kapoor and Tanya Ghavri have in store for us, for the rest of the Dhadak promotions.
