Jacqueline Fernandez’s Concert Tour Is Filled With Chic Outfits, Stunning Makeup And Accessories. We Love How Extra She Is

For Christmas, instead of spending all our holiday money on expensive fragrances, we want a bottle of Jacqueline Fernandez’s personality. Or a cheat-sheet on how she manages to maintain her energy during 16-hour workdays because this woman really does the most. In a new vlog on her Youtube channel, we are introduced to frantic BTS shots of her dressing up, and down, for the very popular Da-Bangg global tour. A bit of a context, these tours accompany the release of a movie instalment in the franchise, this time it’s Dabangg 3. The cast and other Bollywood celebrities have jetted off to Dubai to put on energy-filled shows for packed audiences.

While you will never find me at one of these shows (my scene is hour-long headbanging sessions at heavy metal gigs), one of the performers has caught our fancy. Jacqueline’s many outfits, glammed-out looks and stage costumes mean serious business and we love that she commits so much to put on a great show for people. And considering how ”cringey” some of these show costumes can get, we appreciate the actress taking a bit more seriously and turning out the elaborate looks.

The Accessories

Before we get to her fabulous looks, let’s take a moment to talk about all the chic accessorising she’s been putting into them. From chic turbans to Egyptian headgears, jewelled Arabian eye-mask veils, and even Indian matha pattis, to an extensive collection of pretty diamonds, Jacqueline is blinged out head to toe. In the BTS video, we see her working with the styling team on making the ensembles as glamorous as possible, in order to look great on stage. The bling goes down till her manicure and beads glued on to her eye lines, it’s all so detailed. Styled by Chandini Whabi and Shaan Muttathil, it is such a binge-worthy look at what goes on behind the scenes.

The Outfits

All of Jacqueline’s looks on stage at this tour look like they have stepped right out of Arabian Nights, with hints of Cleopatra and ‘roller girl’ pink sequins from the disco 80s era thrown into the mix. With outfits from cult favourite designers like Yousef Al Jasmi, the actress looks ridiculously gorgeous. At one point we hear her say that she wants every outfit to be “unbelievable”, which is honestly difficult to do. Given that we had big names like Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha performing as well, these ensembles from Jacqueline are the ones that we’d remember the most. The OTT costumes do not look like they are weighing her down and given that she in and out of them in 10 minutes, we are pretty sure they are pretty comfy as well. They did not make her look like a chandelier and that’s what we are the most thankful for!

Not to mention how she looked like a literal queen next to Salman Khan, who did not bother to put in even 10% of the effort that the women in the show put in. He just showed up in black shirts and jeans, we are not impressed!
