Isha Ambani Re-wore Her Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla Lehenga For The Third Time And We Stan Her Sustainable Choices
We gotta learn from her!

Sustainable fashion has been a long conversation that we hoped for celebrities to pick up. While most have been joining the tribe of eco-conscious clothing through their very own new ventures, some others have been making that conscious effort to repeat their favourite pieces from their closets. Just recently Alia Bhatt made it to the news headlines by repeating her wedding saree to receive her first National award this year. And now joining Bhatt is multi-hyphenate Isha Ambani, who made a conscious fashion choice by repeating her lehenga for the third time.
In pictures doing the rounds on the internet, we witnessed Ambani celebrating New Year’s Eve in Udaipur. The pictures featured Isha wearing an embroidered, blush pink lehenga choli from the shelves of her favourite designer duo–Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The same piece was styled by Isha in the year 2019 when she attended the wedding of her cousin Arjun Kothari. Then, the actress styled the lehenga with open hair, a diamond necklace and earrings.

The second time that she re-wore the lehenga was in the year 2020, when she walked the red carpet to attend Armaan Jain’s wedding. Experimenting with her jewellery choices, Ambani played with colours and added an emerald-encrusted necklace with matching earrings and curled her hair.
This time when she wore the same outfit, her styling approach featured a heavy choker, with matching earrings and simple bangles. What she further made a quick change in was her hairstyle, with tresses pinned at the back. While we definitely applaud Ambani’s idea of promoting sustainable fashion, what we loved is how she effortlessly incorporated unique jewellery pieces into the look. This is a reminder that the same designer lehenga can be worn in a hundred new ways, instead of buying a new one every next time.
