Veteran designer Anamika Khanna’s show at Indian Couture Week 2016 was spectacular, as usual. From the carefully crafted clothes to the perfect makeup, everything was beautifully done. However, the one thing that really stood out at her show was the stunning jewellery The heritage jewellery house Amrapali Jaipur collaborated with the designer to produce these exclusive pieces which complimented the couture clothing impeccably.
Amrapali means the muse that inspires beauty and timeless grace. And true to that, the pieces looked extremely delicate yet worked as breathtaking statement pieces. Rubies, emeralds, pearls, and diamonds were put to good use to make Khanna’s collection look every bit as royal as it deserved. From long chains to choker style necklaces and elaborate earrings, the models looked flawless. With jewellery like this, it’s not surprising why diamonds are a woman’s best friends!
