Actress Huma Qureshi never disappoints us with her sartorial experiments. Last evening, the actress turned muse for designer Varun Bahl’s couture collection and walked the ramp in an ivory and gold lehenga. For the designer’s collection titled A Love Letter to Kashmir, Qureshi headlined the presentation in the couture lehenga. Qureshi wore a twirl-worthy lehenga with scalloped hemlines a jaal work embroidery and floral details.
Soaking up the glam was her hand-embroidered choli, incorporating an overlay of golden leaf embroidery, and chord work in thread. Adding to the ensemble was her see-through, sheer dupatta with highlighted scalloping on the borders and ivory crystal work. Draping the veil around her body and covering her head, Qureshi styled the look with a statement matha-patti, featuring the traditional Rajasthani borla.

A part of her bridal jewellery stack was a massive choker, style necklace, embellished with emerald stones, and a pair of matching jhumkas. For hair, Huma tried out a unique hairstyle with drooping flicks and a unique dreamy makeup. With fuller lashes and subtle, coral eye makeup, Huma picked a pink lip gloss and exuded a high on-shine look. The collection by designer Varun Bahl was a sweet tribute to his homeland–Kashmir and his parents. The entire range brought home the idea of bridal fashion, headlined by a subtle colour palette and golden details.
Walking along Huma was her brother Saqib Saleem, who turned showstopper for the designer in a sheer black kurta, embellished with a statement brooch, embroidered black jacket and dazzling sequin pants.
