Hansika Motwani Strikes The Perfect Balance Between Minimalism, And Bridal Glam With A Red Saree For A Pre-Wedding Function

Actress Hansika Motwani tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Sohael Khaturiya. In a lavish, big fat Indian wedding format, Motwani picked a gamut of colours to dress for every function. In new pictures on her Instagram handle, Hansika was seen dressed in a red saree. Styled by celebrity stylists–Mohit Rai, and Aastha Sharma, Hansika wore a dazzling red drape by designer Abhinav Mishra.

For the Mata Ki Chowki at home, Hansika’s deep red colour was perfect for the bridal look. The silhouette struck a balance between minimalism and bridal glam with a mirror-laden border. Hansika coupled the look with a hand-embroidered blouse. Wearing the saree in a double dupatta style, Hansika added another layer of dupatta to cover her head. She further accessorised the look using kundan jewellery by Razwada Jewels. For hair, Motwani let her tresses loose in easy waves, and settled for a minimal look. Both the colour and the lightweight, easy-to-handle mirror borders are perfect for pre-wedding festivities.

In terms of her wedding style, Hansika experimented with every possible silhouette. With variety headlining her collection, Hansika played with colours–yellow, white, beige, and various others. The actress’ wedding lehenga was a statement piece in red, with accents of ice-blue covering the ends of her lehenga. The appliqué embroidery formed a heavy overlay on the skirt, with an interesting blouse adding to the look. For her gorgeous veil, Hansika picked up two dupatta styles, one of which was a traditional bandhani in maroon. The actress matched her look with polki, and mundane jewellery.
