According to the new segment of transaction, Gucci will launch a pilot program to begin accepting in-store crypto payments.

While announcing the same, Gucci also declared that it will stitch the change in a few stores based out of US by the end of this month, with plans to explore other countries too. Exploring the crypto crowd, Gucci is gearing up to accept payment in close to ten currencies including–Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Shiba Inu, Wrapped Bitcoin, Ethereum, amongst others. This move indeed is a promising change with the world now venturing concepts of metaverse, bitcoin, NFTs and more. Moreover the luxury brand has also tightened its ties with Web3 technologies, and is perhaps one of the earliest adopters in the fashion realm to do so.
