All The Glittering Looks From GQ Men Of The Year Awards

The 10th annual GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2018 took place last night in the city of Mumbai. And where there is a red carpet involved, our Bollywood stars are known to bring their fashion A-game. The evening was filled with glitz and glamour as high shine and metallic was the theme of the event.

Here is a look at who wore what at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2018.

Shruti Hassan was seen wearing a Shivan and Narresh dress with their singnature floral embellishments along with a risky high slit and a metallic belt to cinch her waist in. Sleek hair and deep lips rounded her look.

Huma Qureshi was seen wearing a white Balmain jumpsuit with golden buttons and a slashing neckline. She styled the look with gold hoops from Flower Child By Shaheen Abbas. While the jumpsuit was a break from her usual style, it looked a little creased around the waist and did not photograph well.

Malavika Mohanan from the movie Beyond The Clouds was at the event as well. She wore a strapless Shantanu and Nikhil gown. The gown had a leather style corset on top and a draped skirt on the bottom. She wore her hair down in soft textured waves. While the gown is great, the lack of accessories made the look seem rather bare.

Esha Gupta always takes risks on the red carpet. For the GQ Men of the Year Awards, she wore an embellished lacy jumpsuit by Nadine Merabi. She further accentuated the look with jewels from Mahesh Notandass, a Judith Leiber clutch and Louboutin pumps.

Bhumi Pednekar wore an embellished Atelier Zuhra gown for the event. The fitted gown was sheer from the top and had feathered details at the bottom. Teaming the sheer gown with jewellery from Prakshi, the actor rounded out her look with wavy hair. This is a risky number but she wore it well.

Radhika Apte wore plaid pant suit. The look is right up Radhika’s alley and she worked it like a boss. Bold lips, straight hair and black heels rounded her look.

Diana Penty took a risk with her look at the event. She wore a deconstructed Ezra jacket with a pair of sparkly H&M pants. She styled the look with tight curls, Valliyan jewellery, a Prada clutch, and our favourite part of the look her, Saint Laurent heels.

Keeping with the theme of the evening, Sonakshi served up some serious shimmer in her sequined Yanina gown. She styled the look with a sleek top knot, dramatic eye makeup and Outhouse jewellery. Her makeup really is the star of this look, but the outfit too is a stunner!

Ditching the customary gown, Deepika Padukone wore a sheer Swapnil Shinde shirt with patent, high-waist pants. She wore the look with an undone top knot, glossy bold lips, brown smokey eyes and diamond jewellery. While the look is edgy and a good attempt to try something new, Deepika is not carrying the look off with the easy and elegance she has on red carpets. Also, really wish the pants fit better.

It was a Deme gown, paired with a La Perla bralet for Chitrangda at the GQ Men of The Year Awards. The gown had a wrap style neckline, was fitted up to the knee, and then flowed down in a fishtail style. While the fitted bit is okay, we are itching to cut the flowing bit off.

The Kaif sisters are Manish Malhotra’s favourite muse, so it came as no surprise that Isabelle Kaif picked a Manish Malhotra dress for the event. She wore an embellished mini dress with feathers around the sleeves and a slashing neckline. She wore the look with minimal makeup and big curls in her hair.
