All The Glitz & Glamour From The 59th Annual Grammy Awards

By  |

It’s awards season at the moment, and as we keep running through each red carpet, we find that these celebrities just keep getting better and better with their style statement (except for a few weirdos, who were making a statement alright…just not a very stylish one). The 59th Grammy Awards that took place last night was no different — while there were a couple of artists who took to Lady Gaga’s insanity and dressed up similarly, they didn’t quite meet up to her flare of things. Did you check out the upcoming singer who decided to wear a child’s ball-pen as a skirt…seriously what was she thinking?

Yes, Lady Gaga has come up with insane costumes, if we may say so, for red-carpet events like these. Her gown made of meat still resonates when it comes to radical looks, and this time, she may have not outdone that one, but she left us baffled, nonetheless! Wearing a leather and PVC ensemble, Lady Gaga showed off some cleave (a lot, actually), wearing a half-cut blouse with ruffled-out sleeves, shorts, fish-net stockings and extremely…we mean, extremely punk-rock stiletto boots. When it comes to radical, I don’t think anyone ever matches up to her. We saw a lot of sheer happening too, with Demi Lovato and Chrissy Teigan killing it in their beautiful gowns.

A lot of thigh-high slits were going on with Laverne Cox, Jennifer Lopez, and Celine Dion, along with shimmer and shine (which is THE trend of the season it seems). Beyoncé chose a red sequinned gown to boost her baby bump, while Adele chose shades of green. She had to pair the green with the 5 gold Grammys she proudly walked away with, right? The one trend that stood out in its entirety, besides a lot of leg show, of course, was the plunge neckline and show of cleave. Didn’t we predict it already?

Oh well, think your favourite Hollywood celeb made our Grammy’s list? Check them out!
