A constant in Alaya’s closet is the abundance of frills. A perfect fit for cute, schoolgirls, Alaya makes frills a favourite for grown-ups as well. In both sarees and Disney gowns, frills somehow sneak into Alaya’s elaborate wardrobe, which is seasoned with the right amount of layered flounce. Print-Cut
A nod to the year’s biggest cut-out trend is Alaya F’s Arabellaa dress which offers a fresh look on her. The side, cut-out, floral silhouette features a roomy frill around the hem-ends. The less-voluminous frills make up for a cute look on Alaya, which she styled using hoop earrings and white stilettos.
A Moment In Black
For the premiere of her Anurag Kashyap film–Almost Pyaar With DJ Mohabbat, she chose to wear a Shehla Khan dressed in a ruffle, and a frill-stitched gown in black. The classic number featured a thigh-high slit, and the centre cut is styled using a diamond string neckpiece, and matching earrings.
Beige Mood
Alaya delivered a moment in a form-fitted beige gown for a recent red carpet-appearance. The wrap-around, side-slit gown by designer–Shehla Khan, was coupled using a three-tier neckpiece. Alaya channelled soft glam was further achieved using a curly-hair bun, and dewy makeup.
Frill Trims
Another moment in frills for Alaya came in the shape of an Arpita Mehta lehenga. The printed, mirror-embellished blouse was teamed with a printed, tropical skirt in bright orange, featuring multiple layers of crumpled frills. Alaya styled the look using an emerald-met-pearl choker, and her hair styled into a top-knot.

Holiday Hangover
During her time in the Maldives, Alaya packed a set of cute skirt sets. The three-tier frill skirt was coupled using a tiny crop top featuring ruffled sleeves. Sealing the look, Alaya F chose to dress her hair into a ponytail, and a no-makeup makeup look.
