Dressed to impress were some of the night’s biggest stars, including Alia Bhatt, Tripti Dimri, Mrunal Thakur and more. Women took the lead in designer ensembles, bright colours, and metallics. The grand celebration of cinema was graced by the presence of some of Bollywood’s biggest celebrities, giving their best on the red carpet. Here’s our list of best and worst-dressed celebrities.
BEST DRESSED
Alia Bhatt
Besides winning the title of Best Actress for her role in Rocky Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Bhatt made an impactful sartorial choice. Styled by Rhea Kapoor, Alia picked a jewel-toned, ivory slit saree by Anamika Khanna. Styling the same with a British-inspired corset, the actress completed the look with a single-string diamond choker, open-toe heels and berry lips.
Karisma Kapoor
One of the most stylish Kapoors–Karisma, was a moment in a multi-coloured, sequin saree with bright neon and pink patches. The saree further matched her off-beat black velvet blouse and a strip of black border, completing the look. Kapoor also experimented with ice-blue eyeshadow, hair styled into a snatched half-ponytail, and a monochromatic clutch added in the name of accessories.
Kareena Kapoor
Unlike her previous red carpet appearance, Kapoor picked a bright red saree in satin. The actress’ ensemble featured a halter-neck blouse, teamed with a matching drape, presenting a bronze gold, sequin border and an array of floral sequin patches, adding some glam to her simple saree. She further styled the look with a snatched hairstyle and ruby earrings.
Sara Ali Khan
Khan picked flaunted her shape in a fitted, halter-neck blouse. The black sequin number featured an ombré detailed scorpio patch, decorating the thigh-high slit. Khan further styled it with a pair of black ear studs, an extremely tight, hair bun, kohl eyes and open-toe heels.
WORST DRESSED
Tejasswi Prakash
Tejasswi Prakash too attended the red carpet rounds, wearing a metallic multi-layered, satin gown. The dated number was high on draping and fabric construction, with silhouette-less details, adding more volume to Prakash’s frame. Besides that, Tejasswi made a bad choice of hairdo and skipped on accessories.
Tripti Dimri
After her big blockbuster success with Animal, all eyes were on Tripti Dimri. But alas, her sartorial pick wasn’t the best. The actress chose to pick the trendy metallics, exhibited in the form of high-voltage sequins, combined with a black bodice and thin-strap shoulders. She further styled the look with open hair and open-toe heels.

Janhvi Kapoor
Kapoor’s pick for the evening was a high-octane navy blue gown, embellished with detailed fabric construction. With her love for vintage fashion, her see-through, mesh-detailed gown seemed like a dated piece, not adhering to her personal style. Furthermore, her lazy styling effort was visible through her choice of hairdo and accessories.
