7 Blogger-Approved Fashion Trends You Need To Watch Out For This Year!

By  |

You might hate me for this, but I do think it’s time to retire the corset belts, off-shoulder tops, flared pants, and chokers, and start investing in all the new trends that are here to stay this year!

As they say, all good things must come to an end, but only to make room for new ones. So, are you ready to check out the trends that the influencers are already sporting?

1. Fanny Packs

Those horrendous fanny packs are absolutely back in style, but in a much, much cuter avatar than ever before! Combining style and functionality, this is the perfect accessory to sport on a day or night out with the girls.

2. Asymmetrical necklines

Gone are the days of boring round and V-necks, and this is one trend that we can’t wait to sport. We have already seen it on celebrities, and this look that Shereen is now sporting makes us think that this trend is going to take over this year.

3. Statement Waist Belts

My love for waist belts in undying, as they are the perfect way to accentuate my body structure. You can rock this trend with a flowy dress or a loose top; or even wear it with your boyfriend’s plain T-shirt and a pair of boots.

4. Plaid

I am sure everyone has a plaid shirt in their closet, and if you don’t, you need to get one! Plaid is here to stay, and the best way to style it is with a pair of boyfriend jeans, boots and a cowboy hat.

5. Fringes

Fringes are extremely versatile; you can rock the trend on a shredded T-shirt, an elaborate skirt, or even as earrings. All the high end brands are showcasing fringe, and even our bloggers have left us with no choice but to invest in this trend.

6. Socks with heels

We saw that elegance-meets-sporty vibe last year as ramps featured sheer socks with embellishments and sporty calf-length shoes. Simple to follow even for the uninitiated, this year’s trend seems to be wearing socks with all sorts of footwear!

7. Feather

Feathers may seem exotic, but they are taking over wardrobes everywhere. Subtle elements like feather trims on clothes or boots seem to be flirty and fun, and the trend definitely here to stay!
