The newest season of Netflix’s Emily In Paris is here, and sadly the fashion is not even close to our expectations. It sure is ringarde, if I may say so, but that discussion is for another day when we elaborately decode the upgraded, confused style of Emily Cooper. This year, as Emily balances between couture, and casuals, she also strikes a pose in a polka dress, amidst a lavender field. But what has fans, especially Indians excited about the newest season is its two looks that are in common with our beloved Bollywood actresses.

As investigated by the internet-pariwaar, Emily was spotted wearing two dresses that our Bollywood actresses–Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif already wore, and slayed in. Talking of look one, let me take you back to scene one of season 3, where Emily is seen stuck between a situation of confusion and doubt on the topmost floor of the Eiffel Tower. She is seen wearing a multi-cut Magda Butrym dress in polka pink. The same dress was previously worn by actress Alia Bhatt when she arrived for the latest season of Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan.

And when fans saw Emily wearing the same outfit, their excitement knew no bounds. Reacting to the similarity, fans said, “Alia is the queen, she did it first.” And well, we agree.

Talking about the look which is seen on Emily AKA Lily Collins, is a mix of couture and party pop. The character channels the maximalist in her by adding a feathered overcoat in crimson red, and a velvet hairband to seal the look.

Later, the internet spotted Emily channel another look, which was previously worn by actress Katrina Kaif. Okay, let me take you back to the scene where Emily arranges a special event for lavender McLaren, by choosing the shade to even dress herself. The dress by Giuseppe Di Morabito on her is exactly the same piece that Katrina Kaif wore back in the year 2017 for an Instagram picture.
