Editor’s Pick: Shachi’s Funky Pop Art Skirt

I’ve been on the lookout for a flared skirt because of how feminine and playful it looks. And as much as I adore it on others, I’ve never been big on maxi skirts or even calf-length ones for that matter. So when I came across this extremely ME piece of clothing, I did a happy dance (in my head, of course, because I’m pretty well-behaved at work).

Let me tell you that anybody who knows me well will look at this skirt and go, “OMG! This one’s made for you!” I’m an aerated drinks addict — Coke and Thumbs Up, in particular — so much so that I’ve had a zillion cavities and two root canals to deal with. Yes, I blame those damn fizzy drinks for it, but I still can’t do without them. And I can’t begin to tell you how much I love painting my nails. Regardless of what kind of a day I’m having, when I look at my perfectly painted fingernails the world seems like a better place. Call it crazy or stupid, but that’s how much I like a perfect manicure. It’s that one thing I never fail to do on a weekend. Isn’t it the best TLC available anyway?!

Now that you have an idea about my obsession with these two things, you can totally understand why I’ve taken such a fancy to this fun flared skirt by Style Syndrome. This multicoloured, knee-length skirt has two of my all-time favourite things printed on it, and I just cannot wait to gift this to myself on my birthday.

Style Syndrome Polka Dot Letter Print Flared Skirt

I love how the polka dots clash with the red and yellow of the skirt. That red O.P.I. nail colour and the Coca Cola combination might be odd for some, but it works perfectly for me. It’s true. This skirt is definitely made for me, it’s even got my favourite word written on it — ‘Always’!
