A Dummy’s Guide To Fashionably Stacking Your Rings

Stacking rings_Featured_Hauterfly

Everyone and their grandmothers know about the arm stack. But stacking your rings is just as popular, if not more, and just like your arm candy, putting together your rings is an art. Brands these days tend to sell rings in sets. They match them for you, so you don’t have to do any of the work.

But to be honest, mixing and match the ones you have in your jewellery box is the best part, and when you get it right, you really feel like you have the world in the palm of your bejewelled hand.

Here are some dos and don’ts to stacking them right.

The first thing to remember would be sticking to the same metal family. If you’re in the mood for gold, all your rings need to be the same gold.

You don’t have to wear a ring on each and every finger. Wear them on two and skip the third finger. Just because you’ve decided to stack them, doesn’t mean to pile them on like Phoebe Buffet from FRIENDS.

Throw some midi rings in the mix. As long as they complement the base ring, you can wear up to 3 rings on one finger.

Your manicure matters. There’s no point having a killer set of rings if you have chipped nails. Extra points for a manicure that matches your stack.

Don’t go overboard with your arm stack when you have a serious ring game going. A few delicate bracelets is fine, you don’t want to go OTT.

Once you get it right, there’s no going back. Stacking these babies up is a way of life and just think of how great they’ll look on your Instagram page!
