Lilly Singh’s Gender Fluid Diwali Looks Are Perfect If You Want To Ditch Basic Lehengas And Sarees For Wedding Season

The wedding season is here and if you’re like me, then you’ve already exhausted most of your traditional clothes by wearing them for Diwali. And if that’s the case then I’m sure you’re on the lookout for something that is thoda hatke from what you’ve been wearing for the past week. I say this because I don’t know about you peeps, I’m done with wearing lehengas, churidar kurtis, sarees, etc. for weddings to come. I mean, I want something that is new, comfortable, and not too much to handle. Don’t we all? And so, I have come up with another list of outfits that you can take inspiration from. But unlike the rest, this one is different? Why do you ask? Well, cause this one is inspired by the outfits Lilly Singh wore for this Diwali.

Out of all the celebs’ outfits, I have seen this Diwali, Lilly Singh’s style has stood out for me. I mean, imagine wearing bell-bottom pants, a top, and a men’s sherwani as a jacket? How cool is that! And if you think that only Lilly Singh can pull it off, then I’m here to tell you that’s not true.

This heavily silver embroidered off-white sherwani is the perfect outfit for a fun sangeet or cocktail party. Pairing it up with off-white pants, a light grey turtle neck top, and some intricate gold jewellery – just the way Lilly Singh did – binds the entire outfit together and makes for a simple, yet classy look.

2. Get bold with a gold embroidered sherwani

Looking for an outfit to wear on the day of the wedding rituals? Well, what better way to dress up than adorning a red sherwani that is filled with gold embroidery. You can always pair it up with either red palazzo pants or a simple red lehenga and a beige tank to finish up the look.
