Is it just me who thinks Bollywood stars are actually becoming a version of their favourite international stars? I mean like we try to replicate Hailey Bieber’s Coachella eye look or Zendaya’s cool pantsuit, Bollywood sitaare are surprisingly on an overdose of such aping from the west. While I won’t say don’t wear the biggest of international designers, at least don’t broadcast your style mood board for the world to see. Okay, my rant will make sense if I clear the air about the one celeb I am talking about.
So, actress Disha Patani arrived for the big screening of her alleged beau Tiger Shroff and actress Tara Sutaria’s upcoming film–Heropanti 2. However Disha was one of the well-dressed people on the list of invitees, her outfit took me back in time and perhaps overseas too. Wearing designer label–David Koma, yes the exact same name that Deepika flaunted for most times during Gehraiyaan promotions. Disha sealed herself in a lilac cami dress, featuring a crystal appliqué design on the hemline. But why is this cami dress giving us “Kahi too dekha hai” vibe? It’s because the popular David Koma number was earlier worn by pop star Ariana Grande for The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. Yes, the “Thank Your, Next” star wore the exact same lilac number that we now see on Disha. Pretty same to same haan! But thankfully Disha played the trick here and decided to add her personal style tadka to the already popular look.
Spicing up her eye makeup, Disha opted for a matching lilac eye shadow (just a hint), fuller lashes, and a nude lip shade with her long luscious hair placed on one side. But my favourite part of the entire look was Disha’s Outhouse Jewellery micro bag. Yes, the silver micro bag, which probably can not fit the whole jahaan, was embellished with the Outhouse Jewellery’s studded monogram design. And matching her bag with her choice of footwear, the Malang star opted for holographic heels and also not to forget, a deep purple pair of earrings. Well, full marks for the look Disha, but we were hoping to see something more than the usual International dressing up style.
I mean it was yesterday only when Tara Sutaria was spotted serving Taylor Swift lewks, and well also Deepika Padukone’s ‘same pinch’ moment with Kourtney Kardashian in the smoking hot red dress. All and all we’re just hoping for celebs to hit the refresh button and churn out some original looks, with mood boards that certainly aren’t a version of an already worn design.

Talking about the special screening of Heropanti 2, lead actor–Tiger Shroff arrived in a striped suit, with the leading lady–Tara Sutaria entering the venue in a white satin dress alongside beau Aadar Jain.
