Deepika, Shah Rukh, John Thank Their Stylists For ‘Pathaan.’ Guess Who Put John In Those White Shorts?

After the successful release of Pathaan, the cast of the YRF film joined director–Siddharth Anand for the first media interaction. For the Instagram Live session, the leading actors of the film–Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham sat down to decode the success of the film and thank media, fans and audiences for showering their love. During their first interaction with the media, the actors made sure to mention the true stars behind their fashion, who made the film look this great.

Thanking their stylists and the teams who curated the iconic onscreen looks of the actors, John Abraham also thanked Pathaan director–Siddharth Anand’s wife and stylist–Mamta Anand who made him wear those white shorts in the film. In a fun banter, actor Shah Rukh Khan also joked about John Abraham and shared how casting him in a film is profitable, since he doesn’t really require many clothes, as he flaunts his muscles. Uff, we really need to thank Mamta. The most iconic looks from the film were also served by the leading pair–Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan who were styled by the former’s longtime stylist–Shaleena Nathani.

With glitter-loaded costumes, bikinis and statement jewellery, costume designer–Shaleena Nathani presented Padukone in her hottest avatar and built the Pathaan look for Shah Rukh that we all love. Thanking her team, Deepika also gave a special mention for her makeup artist–Anil Chinappa, who she called “a star,” and hair stylist–Yianni Tsapatori, who also worked on Pathaan as his first-ever film project. Mentioning this, Deepika also shared how it is important to wait and sit for the end credits after the film, to pay respect to each and every person who has contributed to the film. Alongside Padukone, Shah Rukh also extended his thanks to stylist–Shaleena and her entire team for making everyone look so good in the film.
Well, we definitely gotta thank both Shaleena and Mamta Anand for gifting us these iconic looks.
