A Saree Moment At Cannes Film Festival
After many outings at the film festival, Padukone finally arrived in Cannes as a part of the jury in the year 2022. For the most special opportunity in her career, the star collaborated with longtime celebrity stylist–Shaleena Nathani to pack a suitcase full of iconic looks. Besides being the ambassador to label–Louis Vuitton, the star represented India in two distinct saree looks, curated by designers Sabyasachi, and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. For both the opening and closing ceremonies, Padukone paid homage to her Indian routes and dazzled in a version of the popular silhouette.

The Louis Vuitton Ambassador
For all the times that Padukone served as the newly announced ambassador of the French Luxury fashion house, the star turned heads in a unique ensemble. For the brand’s new cruise collection of 2022, she made her first official appearance as the brand’s new house ambassador in a t-shirt dress, a coal-hued coverup, knee-high boots, and the popular LV Dauphine bag. For the second outing at the Paris Fashion Week, the star chose to wear a voluminous two-tier tulle dress from the brand’s cruise collection and picked a briefcase bag. Similarly, for a gala night at the 59th Venice Biennale, Padukone picked a look from the brand’s spring/summer 2022 collection, featuring a ruffled collar shirt, blazer, and Bermuda shorts.

Muse For Cartier
In her long list of collaborations, Padukone also turned ambassador of the French luxury jewellery brand–Cartier. For a special gala hosted by the brand, Padukone wore a dreamy pearl-white gown and jewellery by the label. For the special event, she was joined by celebrities–Yasmine Sabri, and Rami Malek in Spain.

The FIFA World Cup
While Padukone received flack for her outfit at the FIFA World Cup this year, what many ignored was how the star created history by being the first Indian to unveil the trophy. Deepika joined Spanish Footballer–Iker Casillas Fernandez, in a Louis Vuitton attire. Again picked from the brand’s cruise collection’22, the star curated the look using an oversized jacket, layered over a skirt, and white shirt, and sealed around the waist, using a statement black belt.

The BOF Gala
Padukone was amongst the world’s A-listers at the Business Of Fashion event. Deepika was not only amongst BOF’s Top 500 list but also turned heads with her sartorial selection. This time around, the actress chose to experiment with her hairdo and exchanged a dreamy gown for loose-fitted pants, and a cropped jacket.

A Moment To Remember
Back in the year 2010, Deepika attended the Cannes Film Festival in her favourite silhouette–saree. For the first time ever, Padukone chose to dazzle in the silhouette for the global stage. For the special premiere of the film in Mumbai, Padukone dazzled in an iconic gold sequin gown by designer Naeem Khan.
