Somebody Call 911 Deepika Padukone’s Cannes Day 2 Looks Are Fire
You probably already know this but allow me to rub it in. Deepika Padukone is currently soaking up the French sun in one of the poshest places in France, where the coveted Cannes Film Festival is taking place. The leggy actress is being a dutiful brand ambassador and attending the event.
Yesterday, the actress served us a total of 6 outfit changes in one day. Yes, that is more than the number of bathroom breaks we take. She started off with a Maison Margiela shirt dress, followed by a basic white tee and jeans look, and then she wore a colourful Tome Nyc striped dress.
Then, just before she hit the red carpet, Deepika wore a geometric print, turtleneck maxi dress by Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini. She finally hit the red carpet in a Zuhair Murad Gown. And she ended the look with a Monique Lhuillier maxi dress.
Now that you are up to date with all the looks from Day 1, let’s talk about her looks from Day 2. After slaying us all with her jaw-dropping looks on day one, Deepika has got our hearts pumping on day 2. Here is a look:
Deepika Padukone In Basics
Giving a twist to the basic white top and blue jeans look from yesterday, Deepika wore a pair of frayed hem, flared jeans from Frame. She paired the look with a fitted white ganji, from the ATM Collection and pointed toe pumps from Roger Vivier. A dainty, layered necklace, and fresh face of makeup rounded this casual chic look.
Deepika Padukone in MAO
As the day progressed, Deepika got her boss chic mode on in a head-to-toe purple. She wore a pants suit from MAO and skipped the shirt, because she can and she pulls it off like a boss. The pants have a flared fit and she styled the look with sleek hair and liquid liner.
Deepika Padukone in Alberta Ferretti
Deepika Padukone scorched in her Alberta Ferretti dress. The dress fit her as though it was liquid gold flowing on her. The maxi dress had a deep neckline cutout all the way to her waist and she paired it with a pair of silver hoops from Misho designs and black block heels. This look has to be one of our favourite looks on her yet.
Deepika Padukone in Ashi Studio
Looking fly AF (quite literally, with the bird wing details on the gown), Deepika got some fuchsia fire, with her red carpet look. Now Deepika is not one to do big dramatic Cannes looks, however, shocking us all she pulled one, on her day 2 at the event. She picked a hot pink Ashi Studio gown which was super ruffled and super voluminous.
The gown also had a dramatic long train on the back. We love how she styled it with pink heels from Aquazzura and wore minimal jewellery from Lorraine Schwartz. Shew threw her hair in a top knot and wore a bold graphic liner with the look.
She did look like she was having a lot of fun in this ruffled gown, and carried it off with such ease. The look if fun, dramatic, young and fresh. LOVE LOVE LOVE!
