Deepika Padukone’s Brand New Look For ‘Gehraiyaan’ Promotions States Her Contemporaries Have A Lot Of Catching Up To Do
Deepika Padukone has raised the temperature yet again. With the onset of her upcoming release Gehraiyaan’s promotions, Deepika Padukone seems to be getting into the gehraiyaan of some great fashion with her flaming hot outfits. Serving lewks on the internet, a new set of images of the actress scream ‘Perfect’ and that’s all we can say. Styled by celebrity stylist Shaleena Nathani, (who BTW deserves applause), the actress is a total boss in the David Koma geometric Jacquard jacket. Opting for power dressing, the black and white structured number came paired with a black bralette and thigh-high black boots. What essentially we loved about the look was the addition of a gold orbital conch hoop earrings, complementing the monochromatic look. Accentuating her eyes with voluminous lashes, thick winged eyeliner and a hint of pink shimmer eyeshadow, she added a pop of colour on the lips with a fuchsia lip shade which often makes a fail-proof pair with black and white. Keeping her distance from loads of blush, Deepika’s signature makeup look incorporates– excessive use of bronzer, fuller eyebrows and ofc the eyes. A shift from the roster of midi and maxi dresses that are constant visitors to promotional events, we love the incorporation of a blazer dress featuring rolled up sleeves and padded shoulders that define Deepika Padukone’s physique and add to her persona. Moreover, the look strikes a balance with subtle colour play, because often actresses and stylists while achieving a perfect-out of the box style, go a bit too over-board (definitely not a scene in this case).

Impressive and hawt, Deepika Padukone has already excited us with her two previous looks during the promotional tour of Gehraiyaan. One being the super spicy, Milo Maria latex dress and the other– orange candy extreme cut out dress by David Koma. Looking at the fab-fab ensembles, I am sorry but her contemporaries definitely have a lot of catching up to do.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone’s upcoming Shakun Batra directorial Gehraiyaan also stars, Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa in pivotal roles. The film is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
