Last night, Hollywood came together to celebrate films at the 27th annual Critics Choice Awards. Held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrities from Lady Gaga to Kristen Stewart, arrived in their stylish best for the red carpet. Indeed a big night for winners including film The Power of the Dog, actors Will Smith, Jessica Chastain, Ariana DeBose, and more. Let’s take a look at the best-dressed stars on the red carpet.
Kristen Stewart
A look inspired from the 90s supermodel and topped off by classic Hollywood glamour, Kristen Stewart’s attire for the big evening came from the shelves of Dolce And Gabbana. Accessorising the look with Messika Paris jewellery, the glitter long fitted dress seemed like a refreshing break from signature red carpet attires, precisely ball-room gowns. Going for a heavy matte look on her face, Kristen went for well-defined smokey eyes and deep peach lips, with hair styled into curls and sealed to one side.
Lady Gaga
The House Of Gucci star appeared in a Gucci gown for the big night. Dipped into the shades of yellow and black, the sheen trail was attached to a black bodice. Securing her hair into a neat bun, the American pop star, added Tiffany And Co. jewels. The custom gown was rather an off-beat choice for the event, considering the yellow tint on the trail, but well, Lady Gaga styled it with her glimmering persona for excellent results.
HoYeon Jung
We definitely have been loving Squid Game fame HoYeon Jung’s sartorial style and the night of Critics Choice Awards rather served as proof. Dressed in a Louis Vuitton gold attire from Spring/Summer 2022 collection, HoYeon Jung’s outfit for the big night featured gold embellishment throughout the garment, with a structured waist. Accessorising the look, HoYeon added silver and ruby drop earrings and a statement ring with hair styled into 90s classic waves. We loved it HoYeon!

Selena Gomez
The “Fetish” singer also turned muse to luxury label Louis Vuitton at the Critics Choice Awards 2022. Dressed in a red gown, featuring a front slit with a centrefold jewel brooch, cinching the red cape, Selena’s choice of outfit was a rather signature red carpet look, and we’d pick her recent outing in black at SAG Awards over it, any day. Selena further accessorised her red attire with a diamond ear cuff by Boucheron jewelry, with hair secured into a neat, side-parted sleek ponytail and brushed up eyebrows headlining the subtle makeup.
Elle Fanning
Glimmering gold– the two words that define the Maleficent actress’ look for the big night. Dressed in a custom embroidered buttercup sequin cocktail dress, by Oscar de la Renta, Elle captured the Hollywood glamour with lips painted with the brightest shade of red, a neat ponytail and ear studs in the name of accessories.
Jared Leto
Always dressed in his best closet favourite, the House Of Gucci star arrived in a Gucci fawn pantsuit. Layered over an ice-blue shirt, Jared topped off the look with a black bow tie and silver disco-esqué shoes.

Ariana DeBose
The Best Supporting Actress winner at the Critics Choice Awards 2022, Ariana arrived in a sun-lit yellow custom, Carolina Herrera gown. The stunning tulle dress, featuring a one-shouldered neckline, was cinched at the waist with a pleated belt. For the hair, Ariana kept her signature short bob intact and added a pair of red string earrings to complement the mustard-yellow on her dress.
Rachel Zegler
The West Side Story star opted for a princess aesthetic for the big night and stunned in a sea-green gown on the red carpet. Pulled out from the shelves of Dior, the haute couture gown featured a pleated tulle, with a low-cut bodice and a braided string tied up at the back. Styling her hair into a twisted-top knot, Rachel wore Tiffany & Co jewellery to the event with berry lips serving as the highlight of her subtle make-up.
Andrew Garfield
Well, we definitely think the Tick, Tick…BOOM! star has become a bit more serious with his style game, especially on red carpets (Can’t forget the purple suit at Independent Spirit Awards). Dressed in Saint Laurent, Andrew’s outfit for the night, featured a velvet glitter black pantsuit, layered over tinsel striped-sheer shirt, that attempted to compliment his brunette hair, and we quite loved the mild-jazz fest on his ensemble. Uff! Why so handsome?
Rita Ora
The British singer arrived in an extreme cut-out velvet burgundy number by designer Elie Saab. Keeping her straight blonde hair intact, Rita kept her distance from extensive accessorising and added a matching burgundy clutch to her ensemble.
Will And Jada Pinkett Smith
The lovely couple walked the red carpet in a combination of brown and pale gold. While Jada opted for label Maison Rabih Kayrouz’s, sculptural strapless gown with a dainty headpiece and diamond jewellery, Will Smith’s choice of suitings for Critics Choice Awards featured a chocolate brown pantsuit, layered over a wood coloured waist-coat, off-white shirt and a checkered tie. We liked the colour combination here.
Jamie Dornan
Serving an edgy look in a fresh colour palette, actor Jamie Dornan’s choice of suitings was impressive and how. Dressed in label Valentino’s double-breasted deep blue pantsuit, Jamie played the colour-layering style game well, by incorporating a sky blue shirt and tie to his choice of outfit pairings.
