Sonakshi Sinha And Kiara Advani Did Floral Co-ords But Are They Blossoming?

Wait, is it just us or are we not over florals yet? The popular summer trend has made a very fashionably late appearance this week. With not one but many all over floral looks from Bollywood’s fashion girls, we think seasonal trends might not remain so for long. A better portion of this trend is back in the guise of matched co-ords and we might not be on board with it. Before all the lovers of floral fashion decide to hit us with a bunch of roses, hear us out!

One of our faves have been a 3-piece Shehla Khan number from Athiya Shetty and it is damn sexy!

The blazer with a co-ordinated  bustier and wide leg pants is a signature and is impeccably styled on Athiya. Paired with some smart gold wristlets and a solid clutch, the leggy beauty certainly cuts a figure of sophistication. There are correct ways to do all over prints and Athiya’s trick of showing just the right amount of skin is certainly one of them!

Unfortunately, we can’t say the same for Sonakshi Sinha! Her version of an all-over floral coordinated set from the House Of Masaba failed to impress. The baggy silhouette of the outfit is further emphasised by the asymmetric fall of the dress. We aren’t really feeling the strappy flats either! While we do love Athiya and PeeCee’s all over florals, are we excited about the trend being a thing again? Maybe not! With brands ushering in fresh trends with their Autumn collections, a sudden resurgence of florals seem unnecessary. We do love coordinated set though! Maybe some monochrome or mismatched pastels?
