Celebs Did Not Bother To Dress Up For Kangana’s Screening While She Turned Out Like A Goddess. What’s Happening?
Movie screenings are a glamorous affair. Usually arranged for their peers, industry people or a special audience, these events are supposed to be comparatively upbeat. There is always press at these events, shutterbugs hoping to catch celebs in their stylish garb. We have spotted the best and brightest of Bollywood serve up some major ‘lewks’ at these kinds of events and they are quite fun. Not too fancy, but a well thought out ensemble nevertheless!
Such was not the case at last night’s special screening for Kangana Ranaut’s Judgemental Hai Kya. The actress showed up in a fierce silver metallic number, with ruffles down her sleeve and matching pumps. We don’t even want to mention her makeup because we don’t feel worthy! Those sparkly eyes deserve their own hall of fame.

After a spell of comparatively underwhelming outfits, Kangana set the red carpet on fire in her Abodi attire. She was joined by her family on the red carpet and was super excited to showcase her film. And if the early reviews are to be trusted, the film is indeed a great watch. Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari tweeted, “There is something magical when brilliant actors dive into characters; break rules & dare to be different. Kangana Ranaut & Rajkummar Rao are a treat to watch as they unfold in #Judgementalhaikya (sic).” Exciting!

That brings us to the other attendees. We had big names like Janhvi and Rhea Kapoor, showing up for the event. Both women are known for their fashion moments, Rhea being impeccable with her styling. While we loved Janhvi’s tartan pants and Rhea’s smart jeans, are they really red carpet material? We think not! We also spotted Swara Bhasker in a gaudy floral number…

Other than the cast and crew, every other celebrity is a guest at a movie screening. It is disrespectful to dress down when your host (in this case Kangana) is looking like a literal goddess? Or was it that the theme was poorly communicated? Or the guests just did not want to attract a lot of attention. Whatever the reason, the impressive turnout of otherwise very stylish celebrities left us confused!
