National Best Friend Day: From ‘Euphoria’s Cassie And Maddy To Aisha And Pinky, Our Fav BFF Fashionista Duos On Screen

Are you even BFFs if you don’t dress up in cute outfits? In my opinion, no. Thanks to television shows and cult-favourite movies, we’ve been hooked on loving some iconic fashionable duos. From Monica and Rachel from Friends to Aisha and Pinky in Bollywood, every BFF jodi has added something to our wardrobe. So, as we celebrate National Best Friend Day today, let’s take a look at some of these iconic duos that we love!

1. Cassie And Maddy

The iconic duo from Euphoria taught us some interesting ways to express yourself through makeup. Cassie and Maddy from the cult-favourite television series also indulged in the concept of style swap, probably chasing the same guy. With Cassie serving the soft girl aesthetic, Maddy’s sharp fashion choices were remarkable in the series.

2. Aisha And Pinky

Aisha and Pinky from the Bollywood film–Aisha remain another great example in the list. The two poles apart personalities had a great sense of personal style in common and we totes loved it. From Aisha’s luxurious taste in fashion to Pinky’s funky and colourful wardrobe, this BFF duo taught us some interesting style lessons.

3. Emily And Mindy

Emily and Mindy from Emily In Paris spelt fashion through colours and monumental silhouettes. From Emily serving a romantic style to Mindy’s mood-boosting prints, this BFF duo had both the hottest boys and personal style in check. Throughout the show, Emily and Mindy served us with plenty of fashion trends that made sure to keep us hooked to their closets.

4. Mean Girls

The 2004 comedy teen drama not only found a safe space in our hearts, and cult-favourite status but also surprised us with iconic 2000s style. Through the lives of four girls, we learn the idea of female friendships, love and the importance of wearing pink on especially Wednesdays. The show and their squad brought many interesting fashion trends like bows, skater skirts and baby tees under a major spotlight.

5. Veere Di Wedding

Closer to home, we found our favourites onscreen veeres through actresses Kareena, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. Through the film’s interesting story about female friendships and hardships, the leading ladies dished out impeccable fashion, and we credit Rhea Kapoor for all the magic. From bridal, and wedding lehenga trends to holiday fashion, we wanted to steal everything from their closets.

6. Four More Shots Please!

Another OTT drama, produced by India that served great style lessons was 4 More Shots Please! The Prime Video show was not only a hit amongst fans for its bold storyline but also redefined the wardrobes of a strong independent woman through edgy makeup and silhouettes. A must-watch show to learn fashion that is apt for both work and play.

7. Rohan And Abhimanyu

The male BFFs from Student Of The Year brought two different worlds together through their kukkad kamaal fashion. From Rohan’s swanky leather jackets that matched his luxurious cars to Abhimanyu’s t-shirts and sweaters, we fell for both of them. Men should definitely take notes from this jodi.
