It’s Day 3 at the Cannes Film Festival and celebrities are ready to rock the red carpet. From Deepika Padukone to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Indian divas are glowing in another red carpet look, and well we’re loving the fun fashion experiments they all are pulling off.
Making another smashing appearance on the red carpet, Aishwarya picked designer Gaurav Gupta for a promising look on Day 3. Wearing a beautiful shimmer pink, Aishwarya made heads turn. Featuring Gaurav’s distinct structured design aesthetic and massive construction and fabric details, Aishwarya’s pale pink number had intricate ruched details throughout the silhouette with some glitter channelling through the pleats of the gown. Moreover, the gown included a massive structure serving as the backdrop for Aishwarya and reminded us of a beautiful seashell, as the silhouette takes inspiration from Venus, with Aishwarya portraying the birth of Venus (a painting by the Italian artist Sandro Botticelli)
Apart from the colour and glitter details, Gaurav’s eye for intricacy was visualy stunning and added more chaar chaand to the entire ensemble. Aishwarya further teamed her red carpet special piece with diamond ear cuffs and finger rings by Messika Paris. Keeping her hair simple, Aishwarya opted for loose curls sealed on one side. For makeup, Mrs Bachchan matched the glitter on her gown with her eyes and settled for a fine winged eyeliner and lips painted with a hint of pink.

This look comes after a series of highlighter pink outfits worn by Aishwarya at this year’s Cannes and we think Barbie’s favourite pink is the ruling colour in the actress’s closet. We love, love this one, Aish!!
