10 Bollywood Celebrity Airport Looks To Inspire Your Next Travel Outfit

By  |

Summer’s over, but the holidays don’t have to end. Unless you’re still in school, the best time of the year to take a break is in July. You skip a huge chunk of the monsoon in India and that’s really what it’s all about!

Of course, with an international holiday comes a flight and you’ve obviously got to dress the part — how else will you ask for an upgrade when you’re checking in?

There are a few key things to keep in mind while dressing for a flight. If it’s a long one, wearing dark colours is your best bet. And it’s always better to layer up.

Celebrities always turn up impeccably put together, even while travelling, so we picked out some of our favourite celeb looks to inspire your next travel outfit.

Sneakers and a longline waistcoat will always be your airport go-to pieces. They bring comfort as well as style and really there’s no better combination.

Blush pink and oxblood look great together, so while you can definitely wear this out, there’s no harm in taking it to the airport. Tracks and an oversized bomber jacket is as snuggly as it can get.

Tone on tone makes you look instantly chicer. Add on a light cape like Alia Bhatt and you’re good to board that flight!

Denim on denim will never fail you. Of course, jeans are the most versatile piece of clothing to wear while flying. Add on a tank and a long denim shirt for an easy-breezy look.

As far as oversized jackets go, adding one to your jeans and tank in a bright colour à la Kriti Sanon is always a good idea.

Wearing a tunic or dress over your denims seems to be a hot new trend. As always, Sonam Kapoor has been championing it and where there’s a will, there’s a way to do it at the airport too!

Let’s not dismiss the ever-efficient jumper. Freida Pinto makes a strong case for an embellished knit with jeans and a beanie to match while travelling.

The best way to go fuss-free, especially on shorter flights, is in a comfy dress. You can always layer it like Athiya Shetty to stay warm and carry a shawl in case it gets seriously chilly.

If all else fails, your favourite band tee and sweatpants will always be a hit at the airport. Just make sure they match like Parineeti Chopra‘s.

And lastly, don’t forget your sunglasses and, instead of a handbag, why not get a backpack instead? It’s more functional bag for travel and hella efficient to carry around.
