Every shoe lover has just one wish — to be able to flaunt shoes that are as comfortable as they’re chic. If you really think about it, you’ll realise this is exactly why sneakers have gained such cult status in recent years — they’re not just funky, they can be perfectly teamed with almost any ensemble, and are also superbly comfortable.
While there’s no doubt that a pair of good old stilettos is every girl’s must-have sandal, we do end up wearing them at the cost of unbearable agony. I’m sure, given a choice, we’d only opt for shoes that don’t have us yelping in pain. So I’ve been rejoicing about the fact that this season designers have found shoe love in block heels.
Seriously, stacked heels are the best spring shoe update ever. Why? They help you add the necessary height minus the pain by distributing your body weight equally. Comfort? Check! Style? Double check! What more do we want, ladies?!
Wear your block heels with a pair of cuffed denims and a long plaid shirt, or slip on a pair with a white bodysuit and a graphic pencil skirt. You can also team them with a midi dress or just add a pair to your off-shoulder-top and culottes outfit. No matter what you wear, a pair of block heels can amp up even a basic outfit.
