Bhumi Pednekar Plays Well With Drapes And Pleats In A Monochrome Ensemble
Apart from actress Bhumi Pednekar’s interesting makeup tutorials, her sartorial finesse has found a fan in each one of us. And in between a stack full of exuberant colours and lively prints, Bhumi has dished out a monochrome look. In new pictures posted on the actress’ Instagram handle, we spotted her wearing the most subtle shade of creme and white, as she rounded up an artistic pairing.
The actress trusted the design aesthetics of up-and-coming designer–Yash Patil. Known for his flavourful experiments with drapes, textiles and garment construction, Yash Patil’s co-ord set for Bhumi is indeed an example of wearable art. The two-piece set incorporated a structured corset with a back opening, decorated with lace tie-ups. The strapless silhouette also had a slight peplum finish to it, with draped drooping shoulders.

To match her corset, Bhumi opted for a pair of wide-legged pants, that replicated the design of the dropping shoulders. The panels came adorned with draped and intricately pleated fabric trails. To finish the look, Bhumi flaunted her damp, messy curls with makeup that stayed miles away from glossy glamour. The overall colour palette of the ensemble is a refreshing addition to Bhumi’s sprightful wardrobe which is worth a ten-on-ten.
