From Ananya Panday, and Sara Ali Khan to Shanaya Kapoor, stars slid into popular film characters to join their fellow fraternity friends for a spooky night. Dishing out iconic costumes, this new batch of Bollywood celebrities, made sure to win the highest marks. The occasion of Halloween was also a unique way for Gen-Z to pay homage to their favourite film characters. Let’s take a look at some of our favourite ones from the lot.
Shanaya Kapoor
Paying an ode to Anne Hathaway and her iconic film–The Princess Diaries was Shanaya Kapoor. The actress arrived in Mia’s iconic, off-white and gold gown, and styled it using opera gloves, black sunglasses and a crown. Kapoor made sure to recreate the film’s famous poster shots, as finishing touches.

Janhvi Kapoor
Janhvi Kapoor’s spooky avatar was a refreshing look on her, and kudos to her for experimenting. The Mili actress joined other star kids as a version of Morticia Addams from The Addams Family. Kapoor chose to wear an off-shoulder slip dress in black, and rounded up a statement makeup look, using brushed-up eyebrows, dark brown lips and kohl-laden, smoky eyes.

Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter–Navya Nanda gave a Disney princess twist to her Halloween costume, as she channelled princess Jasmine for the party. The entrepreneur picked up the classic combination of a blue blouse and matching skirt to recreate Jasmine. She also picked up an embellished stone hair band and jewellery to style her blue attire.

Actress Sara Ali Khan trusted classic black. While the actress chose to stay away from character recreations, she picked an all-black ensemble for the Halloween party. The classic shade came packaged in a rhinestone bustier top, a micro leather skirt and a sling bag. Sara further sported crimped hair and painted her eyelids with shimmer.

Celebrating Halloween a day ahead, was actress Ananya Panday. Marking her birthday eve, Ananya chose to attend the party in a Bollywood way. Being one of the biggest fans of actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ananya channelled her favourite character Poo, from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Pandey arrived in Poo’s classic asymmetrical crop top in pink, a leather skirt, a fur coverup, a baguette, and sunglasses. She also posted a video on her Instagram handle, recreating the character’s introductory scene in the film, and some of her popular dialogues.
