Actress Margot Robbie and her team from the Barbie movie walked the pink carpet at the London premiere of the film. Ahead of the film’s release, the cast and crew of this dream film arrived in their scintillating pink and pastel outfits, channelling the Barbiecore aesthetic. From filmmaker Greta Gerwig to actors Ryan Gosling, and Emma Mackey, everyone followed a whimsical dress code for the special moment. Check out some of our favourite fashion moments from the pink carpet.

Margot Robbie

The main girl Barbie walked the pink carpet giving another tribute to the famous doll. Robbie’s look for the London premiere was monumental and pink. A corseted, off-shouldered gown with droopy shoulders and a draped skirt with a train, was combined with pearl choker and faux fur collars. Paying homage to the Enchanted Evening 1960 Barbie, Robbie styled a delicate Vivienne Westwood corset gown, with a romantic hairdo and gloves.

Ryan Gosling

Mr Gosling looked deliciously hot in his ice blue pantsuit, and oh, we loved this Ken. Keeping it simple and classic, in the refreshing blue suit, teamed with a sky blue shirt. Unlike his look for the LA premiere, Gosling complimented his co-star in the film, exuding Barbie glam in full swing.

Dua Lipa

The popular singer who is all set to play Barbie in the film, joined the cast in another show-stopping ensemble. For the London premiere, Lipa turned muse to Versace in a scintillating floral dress. With a cut-work neckline, monogrammed gold sleeves and a flat-lay sequin design, Dua in Versace’s Pre-Fall 2023 chainmail dress was nothing short of a dream. For jewellery, she handpicked a bunch of colourful pieces that struck a combination with the signature Versace gold.

Nicola Coughlan

The Bridgerton star was another well-dressed guest at the London premiere, walking the pink carpet in a crystal-soaked look. The sexy, two-toned custom Wiederhoeft dress was tailor-made using sustainable satin, hand stitched with Swarovski crystals. The shimmer sleeves and an inverted flap neckline created the illusion of a sparkling base, with a chandelier-chic-like finish provided by the dripping embellishments.

Emma Mackey

The Sex Education star kept it simple and sexy in a satin gown. The oversized number featured a deep v-neckline, noodle straps and an ankle-length hem with a floor-sweeping train. Mackey accessorised the look with a tennis chain, messy hair and sheen makeup.

America Ferrera

The actress/producer too walked the pink carpet, channelling a rather Oppenheimer energy in a black gown. The shimmering, sequin number featured a tiny ruffle design around the waist, a deep v-neckline and broad straps. Ferrera styled it together with see-through black gloves and a black clutch.

The Barbie movie is all set to release on July 21, 2023.
